Dr. Turner returns to the College where he earned his Associates Degree before moving on to University of Kentucky and Notre Dame for undergraduate and doctoral studies. He will be on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College to discuss his new book, The Harlan Renaissance, his love for the eastern Kentucky mountain community, and the past, present, and future of Black people in the region.
