The FCDP Discussion Series has been a hit this past year, offering party members a mix between thought-provoking literature and in-person presentations from the authors themselves. The Harlan Renaissance by Dr. William H. Turner offers us an intimate remembrance of kinship and community in eastern Kentucky’s coal towns and reconstructs the vibrant Black life that existed there during coal’s final postwar boom years.
Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a good book, discussion with your friends, and apply lessons learned. We hope to see you for our next FCDP's Discussion Series event this Thursday!
